Infinite Mode Strategy
How to push higher waves in Infinite mode. Unit placement, timing, and team compositions for maximum progress.
Infinite Mode Overview
Recommended Team Compositions
Standard Meta Team
The most balanced and versatile team for all content including Infinite.
Budget Team (No Secrets)
For players without Sun Jin Wu or other secret units.
Wave-by-Wave Strategy
Easy
Focus on economy. Place Speed Cart immediately, upgrade it fully. Start placing DPS after Wave 5.
Medium
Start scaling your main DPS. Place Virtual Idol to buff your carries. Begin placing Kenpachi for debuffs.
Hard
Full team should be placed and upgrading. Focus on positioning for maximum buff coverage.
Very Hard
This is where builds are tested. Make sure all units are maxed. Proper positioning is crucial.
Extreme
Only well-geared teams with proper traits will survive. Sun Jin Wu or Ragna become essential for scaling.
Placement Tips
Virtual Idol Positioning
Place Virtual Idol where it can reach ALL your DPS units. Its buff range determines your team's effectiveness.
Speed Cart Placement
Place early and in a safe spot. It doesn't need to be near enemies, just needs to survive.
Kenpachi Coverage
Kenpachi's Vulnerability debuff affects enemies in range. Position to hit as many enemies as possible.
Chokepoint Control
On maps with chokepoints, stack your AoE units there for maximum efficiency.
Common Mistakes
- Placing all units immediately
Economy first. Speed Cart should be your first and only unit until Wave 5-10.
- Ignoring Virtual Idol buff range
If your DPS isn't in Idol's range, you're wasting damage potential.
- Not maxing Speed Cart
Speed Cart should be fully upgraded ASAP. More money = faster scaling.
- Using Infinite to farm Takedowns
Story Act 1 is MUCH faster for farming Takedowns. Infinite is too slow.
Lelouch Quest: Survive 80 Waves
One step of the Lelouch questline requires surviving 80 waves in Infinite mode. Here's how to achieve it:
- • Bring your best-geared team with proper traits
- • Economy is key - max Speed Cart immediately
- • Place Virtual Idol by Wave 30-35
- • Full team should be active by Wave 50
- • Focus on positioning over rushing upgrades
- • Consider bringing Admiral for late boss waves
