What is the best strategy for new players?

How do I earn gems in the game?
You earn gems by completing story stages, daily tasks, achievements, and redeeming codes. Gems are used for summoning new units and rerolling traits.

What unit should I invest in first?
Check our Tier Lists for the current meta. Good starter units vary by game mode - some excel in Story while others dominate Infinite mode.
What traits are best for DPS units?
Generally, damage multiplier traits like Ruler or attack speed traits are best for DPS. Use our Traits page to see all trait effects and probabilities.
How do trait rerolls work?
Spend gems to reroll a unit's trait. Each trait has a specific probability. Rare traits like Ruler have very low rates. Use our Trait Reroll Calculator to plan your spending.
Game Modes
What is the difference between Story, Infinite, and Virtual Realm?
Story mode has fixed stages with set enemies. Infinite mode has endless waves that get progressively harder. Virtual Realm is a special mode with unique mechanics and rewards.
Which mode gives the best rewards?
Each mode has different reward structures. Story gives one-time completion rewards, Infinite gives scaling rewards based on wave reached, and Virtual Realm has exclusive items.
Should I play solo or with a team?
Teams can place more units and cover more lanes. For difficult content, teams are recommended. Solo is fine for easier stages and daily farming.

What is the trait probability system?
Each trait has a specific drop rate when rerolling. Common traits are more frequent, while rare traits like Ruler or Sacred have very low probabilities (often below 1%).
