What is Universal Tower Defense?
Universal Tower Defense (UTD) is a Roblox tower defense game featuring characters from popular anime series. Build your team of powerful units, upgrade them through evolution and etherealization, and conquer various game modes.

Getting Started

Use Redemption Codes
Enter codes like release, thank you, unrivaled, 40k CCU to get free gems.

Pull for Essential Units
Prioritize getting Speed Cart (farm unit) and a Mythic DPS like Kenpachi or Ace.

Start Story Mode
Set difficulty to 75% (Low Modulation). Clear Acts 1-6, then Marine Base, and finally Hollowed Moon.

Claim Level Milestones
Check your Level Rewards regularly - they give massive amounts of gems and rerolls!
Must-Have Units for Beginners
🛒MUST HAVE
Speed Cart (Fast Cart)
Your ONLY money unit. Absolutely essential - without it, you cannot upgrade units in battle.
⚔️META
Kenpachi (Berserker)
Full AoE, Hybrid, Slow, Vulnerability debuff, Hyper Armor damage. The complete package.
🔥META
Ace (Spade)
Full screen AoE, Burn damage, bypasses Armor. Cheap to place and easy to Etherealize to E6.
🎤SUPPORT
Virtual Idol (Miku)
The BEST buffer in the game. Gives free upgrades to nearby units. Essential for all content.
Essential Tips
- Always place Speed Cart first - Economy is everything in this game
- Check the Gold Shop daily - Buy all Trait Rerolls and Fragments
- Don't sell duplicate Mythics - Use them for Etherealization instead
- Enable Auto Skip Summon Animation - Saves a lot of time
- Claim Group Rewards - Hidden box near Play area, easy free gems
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Starting at 100% difficulty - Use 75% modulation until you have Mythic units
- Selling duplicate units - Always Etherealize duplicates for bonus passives
- Ignoring Speed Cart - Without economy, you can't upgrade your DPS
- Wasting rerolls on bad units - Save rerolls for your Mythic carries

Phase 1: Starting Out
Use codes, pull for Speed Cart + Legendary units, clear Story 1-6 at 75%

Pull for Kenpachi or Kyito, claim Level Milestones for gems & rerolls

Farm Half-hour Challenges for evolution materials, evolve your Mythics
